Gwilym Still is Director of Passivhaus at Max Fordham, and a Passivhaus certifier and designer. He has helped drive the adoption of Passivhaus within the UK construction industry, particularly on larger projects, raising its profile and helping to train future Passivhaus designers.
His recent projects include the redevelopment of Agar Grove Estate, the all-electric Greenhaus social housing in Salford for Muse, and The Entopia Building in Cambridge.
Gwilym has MEP Engineering and Passivhaus experience across all scales of projects, from new-build to retrofit, in a broad range of sectors including offices, galleries, performance and education spaces. His focus is on helping to deliver robust, low-energy designs that work and are sensitive to the architecture, for retrofit and new build.
He represents Max Fordham on several forums and expert panels, including the Passivhaus Trust Technical Panel, and is a Trustee for the Cambridge Forum for the Construction Industry.
Gwilym also champions Max Fordham’s International Outreach Group, which provides pro-bono engineering expertise on community projects around the world that would otherwise be unable to access such assistance.
