Hannah Amarquaye-Booker

Hannah is an Associate in the Planning Consultancy team at Be First, joining the London Borough of Barking & Dagenham’s Development Agency  in 2023. Her experience centres around planning and project management, having worked with Local Authorities, Private sector Developers & Charities; supporting development proposals through feasibility and planning application stages across Industrial, Housing-led mixed-use, specialist and social housing development.

Hannah is currently involved in key Council led projects including Dagenham Heathway Estate Renewal and 100% Social Housing decant sites, Modular-build Specialist Children’s Homes, alongside a charity client developing specialist accommodation for those experiencing homelessness.

Hannah holds to the belief that everyone should have a home that is safe, secure and well-designed. She is interested in how the development sector can utilise existing and new tools to ensure that, in the drive for delivery, housing remains people centred.
