Hannah Rich
Hannah Rich is a Chartered Environmental Professional and Head of Sustainability at Bovis, with 20 years’ experience leading sustainability and environmental delivery across major UK infrastructure and construction projects.
Hannah has held senior leadership roles on some of the UK’s most high-profile programmes, including High Speed 2, Thameslink and Crossrail. She previously led the environmental and sustainability strategy for HS2 Euston Station - an £8bn, 60-acre redevelopment - where she was responsible for integrating sustainability into design, procurement and delivery, and coordinating complex stakeholder interfaces across government, transport bodies and local authorities.
In her current role, Hannah sets and drives Bovis’ sustainability vision and corporate strategy, embedding carbon reduction, environmental performance and social value across the business. She leads multi-disciplinary teams responsible for delivering measurable outcomes aligned to net zero, biodiversity net gain and broader ESG priorities, while ensuring compliance with evolving UK regulations and reporting frameworks.
Hannah is an award-winning practitioner, published academic author, and active industry advocate, committed to advancing best practice and supporting the transition to a more sustainable built environment. She holds a Master’s degree in Environment, Politics and Globalisation from King’s College London.
