Helen Hewitt is the Chief Executive of the British Woodworking Federation (BWF), the leading association representing manufacturers of timber fire doorsets, processors, distributors and suppliers of integral components for 20+ years. Through the Associations Fire Door Alliance (FDA) we champion third-party certification of fire doors and doorsets with our members share the vision that every fire door or fire doorset sold and installed in the UK meets required standards throughout its service life. The BWF has also been leading on the Super Sector competence framework programme for developing the route to competence for a fire door installer.
