Helen is Director of Practice for international architecture and interior design practice, Scott Brownrigg. Based in the Practice’s London head office, Helen is responsible for the strategic planning and implementation of programmes to maintain and enhance the high levels of technical competence and expertise across the whole practice, which includes the BIM strategy. Committed to sustainability, diversity and inclusive design Helen supports the implementation of new initiatives to assist Scott Brownrigg in achieving its quality management, sustainability and corporate social and environmental responsibility objectives.
As a chartered architect, Helen has long specialised in education design, which was the first sector within the Practice to use BIM.
She is well recognised through her collaboration with industry bodies: Helen was a founder member of the RIBA/ ESFA Design Liaison Forum and former Convenor of the RIBA Schools Client Forum; founder member and co-chair of Architects for Change, the RIBA’s Equality & Diversity Forum; and Chair of the RIBA Inclusive Design Committee. She has recently joined the CIBSE School Design Group and Research in Practice Group with a focus on building performance in use with a particular interest in developing collaboration and learning cross industry.
