Hershil is the Productivity Lead for Arcadis’ Government and Public Sector team, where he supports clients like the Ministry of Defence/ Defence  Infrastructure Organisation and Department for Education with strategic sustainability, DfMA, and estate strategies. Previously, as Head of Energy, Environment, and Engineering at the Department for Education, he integrated sustainability  and productivity into programmes, led pandemic response strategies, and secured significant funding for schools during both the 2021 Spending Review and the cost-of-living crisis. Combining practical delivery with policy expertise, Hershil creates impactful solutions that improve productivity and support public sector transformation.
