Jack Spencer Ashworth

Senior Associate, Hudson Architects

Jack is a passionate architectural designer with over 15 years’ experience working in a broad range of sectors from private residential to large-scale commercial projects. Combining creative flair with an eye for detail, he recently delivered a multi-award winning new academic building for Norwich University of the Arts.

He is deeply concerned about climate change and painfully conscious of the significant contribution of the built environment to carbon emissions, but also believes passionately that good architecture can be part of the solution. Since joining Hudson Architects 6 years ago, Jack has renewed the practice’s commitment to sustainability. In 2019 the practice became signatories or Architects Declare and the RIBA Climate Challenge 2030. He has lead a programme of up-skilling within the practice from passive house design to embodied carbon calculations.

Jack currently sits on the RIBA East Sustainability group and the Norfolk Chamber of Commerce's Business Climate Leaders Board.
