James is an expert in the field of airport development with 20 years’ experience. He has extensive global experience gained working on projects worldwide covering master planning, transformation programmes, due diligence and transactions, business case development, detailed capacity assessments, airport design including competition entries and operational readiness and transfer. Having worked both as a consultant and a client James has experience of leading and supporting projects and programmes of work across their lifecycle from inception to delivery and has a passion for deriving, communicating, and delivering against a vision. James leads AECOM’s Aviation Master Planning and Advisory capability across the UK, Europe and India. With a focus on business optimisation and resilience, ESG and Future Flight, he and his team are helping clients and their stakeholders, prepare for prosperous and sustainable futures.
