Jan Slominski works as Applications Team Leader within Croydon Council’s Development Management service. He has previously held roles at several Local Authorities and in private consultancy, responsible for planning applications for private clients and local authorities, and masterplans for large housing developments. 

Jan was the lead planning consultant on the “Dunton Hills Garden Village” SPD for Brentwood Borough Council, and has acted as lead officer for several large-scale major planning applications. These include the Planning Performance Agreement for the HTA Design/Tide Construction multi-award winning “10 Degrees” in Croydon which was the tallest modular residential building in the world at the time of its completion. 

Jan currently manages a team which co-ordinates planning permissions and planning performance agreements across Croydon. His main interests lie in sustainable housing delivery and placemaking, in particular the delivery of new housing developments, or retrofitting of existing places, to create the neighbourhoods of the future.
