I am currently working as a Project Manager at Story Contracting, joining in October 2022. Before my time at Story, I worked at Volker Rail for over five years as an Assistant Project Manager, Graduate and Undergraduate placement student.
During my time in the rail industry, I have worked on, and delivered, various exciting and successful schemes such as, North West Electrification Phase 3 and REAL Alliance PSU 1&2. More recently, I have worked on renewals frameworks with Network Rail in Signaling, Telecoms and Civils. At Story, I am currently delivering safety improvements for NR Works Delivery, installing tactiles at circa 55 stations across North West, Central and West Coast South following the Eden Park fatality.
I have a project delivery focused background and a passion for building positive relationships that add value. During my time as a Graduate and Undergraduate, I worked as Trainee Environmental and Sustainability Advisor amongst other site roles to gain experience, before moving into project management. Therefore, this has allowed me to understand other roles that support a wider team. I have a versatile skillset to adapt challenges faced when delivering projects and have won various awards throughout my career such as the ‘Rising Star’ and training and development awards.
