Jason Miles Summers (He/His)

Jason is an award-winning DEI consultant with 15 years of corporate experience. He brings a practical, commercial perspective to the challenges and opportunities of the modern workplace. Today he runs Beyond Labels, a consultancy he founded on a simple belief: real inclusion goes beyond labels, policies and statements.

During his career in the construction industry, Jason was the first openly trans employee to transition in the company, and a founding member of its first employee-led network. These experiences helped shape his understanding of what meaningful belonging looks like in practice.

Jason believes that inclusion is not simply about good intentions or meeting a set of requirements. It’s about creating workplaces where people feel valued, respected and able to contribute, perform and succeed. When organisations embed true equity and inclusive practice into their leadership, behaviours and everyday culture, the benefits extend beyond the individual; they strengthen organisational culture, decision-making, and financial performance.
