Jehan Weerasinghe
Jehan’s role centres on providing a world-class service on all things relating to place in Brent. This includes economic growth, inclusive regeneration, inward investment, climate resilience, planning, infrastructure, urban design, property, assets and public realm. Jehan overseas one of the largest affordable house-building programmes of any London Council.
Jehan joined Brent Council in September 2025 following a 23-year career in housing associations where he specialised in estate regeneration, socio economic development, assets, public realm and customer services. He has held several leadership positions including Managing Director of Glasgow Housing Association and most recently an Executive Director the Riverside Group where he oversaw their London regeneration programme.
