Jon Knowles

Jon is a Chartered Building Surveyor and Project Manager with 30 years of commercial property experience in the UK and Europe.

After a successful career in a larger multi-disciplinary practice, he left a senior position to set up Cogent BC LLP in 2017 and is their Managing Partner.  Cogent, now a team of 25 with 5 equity partners, have established themselves as a boutique partnership specialising in Project management and Technical Due Diligence, advising on varied transactions and delivering new build and refurbishment projects, across various asset classes, both in the UK and Europe.

The partnership places a strong emphasis on core values and has a reputation for straightforward advice, trusted relationships, and successful delivery, underpinned by the Partner’s collaborative approach. 

Jon’s particular focus is the central London office market acting as Project Manager/Employers Agent for a range of complex refurbishment and new-build projects.
