My background is in Private High End Residential Construction Project Management and Quantity Surveying. I have spent over a decade working on projects in and around London, delivering the most unique houses you can imagine. In my career so far I have completed over 100 construction projects. From delicate refurbishments to extensive renovations, conversions, extensions, alterations, fit outs etc. I have worked at some of the most prestigious postcodes within the capital delivering outstanding properties. Over 50% of those was either a listed building or within conservation area that doesn’t obey but the typical rules. Having worked within commercial projects including hotels, restaurants, offices etc. It has enabled me to work with residential and mixed use developments. I have also worked on residential projects from about £20k to £5M. It was always most challenging to work with private clients, homeowners who know very little about laws and processes this industry works within. Often they would be in a very lonely and vulnerable place having to make decisions they don't understand with repercussion nobody explained to them. I decided to change this. I started Star Projects and created systems that allow homeowners refurbishing their homes to achieve the results they want, staying within the budget they have and aim for a realistic timescale.
