Kaman is a Senior Associate in WJE’s UK Fire and Façade Engineering team, where she leads technical activities and serves as project lead on a range of developments with demanding performance, regulatory, and buildability requirements. Her experience includes fire risk appraisals, design reviews, and developing practical remediation strategies for non-compliant façade systems. Kaman focuses on the fire safety performance of façade systems, the impact of the Building Safety Act, and how façade design ties in with regulatory compliance and building resilience. Kaman is a Chartered Engineer with the Institution of Building Services Engineers and a Fellow of the Society of Façade Engineering (SFE).
