Karen Jefford CMgr FCMI is the Chief Executive for the Queens award winning charitable organisation Building Heroes. A military charity equipping service leavers and greater community with skills and qualifications to transition into the construction industry. She is responsible for the development and delivery of the charity's strategic plan with a mission to support the growing demand from the military community achieve a second career. She is focused on creating a resilient organisation that continues to improve outcomes but also help improve the culture of the construction industry leading with military assets. Karen has established and led award winning organisations in a variety of contexts, implemented systems having redesigned processes leading to business success. She has featured as a keynote speaker at industry events, and most recently graduated achieving her master’s and the highest status that can be achieved in management profession. Karen is passionate about her work and commitment to serve those who have served us. Her mission is to continue to build on the charity’s reputation, increase visibility and a stronger support network beneficial to all.
