Kartikeya is an associate and environmental consultant at PRP with over ten years of industry experience. With an interest in integrating sustainability at early design stages, he specialises in a variety of state-of-the-art environmental simulation techniques. He has a keen interest in expanding the realm of integrated passive design and exploring computational parametric modelling to evolve the building design process. Kartikeya has created bespoke environmental analysis tools and co-authored research papers for various conferences, including PLEA, BAMB and CISBAT. His work has regularly been shortlisted for the CIBSE Building Simulation Group Prize. He has contributed to developing a wide range of significant design projects across the UK and abroad, including Kingston University’s Town House, which won the RIBA Stirling Prize 2021, and LSE’s Centre Building, which won the RIBA National Award 2021.
