Katie Atkinson is the People Lead for UK and Europe at Grimshaw, overseeing HR for the London and Paris studios. With over 20 years of experience working with several AJ100 architectural practices, Katie is passionate about advancing diversity, equity, and inclusion within the architecture profession for the current and next generation of architects.

Since joining Grimshaw in 2018, Katie has played a key role in implementing and evolving the practice's diversity principles. She is also part of the RIBA Architecture Apprenticeships Trailblazer Group and works closely with HEIs, advocating for more accessible routes into the profession, diverse talent and removing barriers to progression.
