Katy, named as the UK's Most Influential Women in Construction by CITB in 2026, is a Chartered Construction Project Manager from East Yorkshire. Alongside her role as a Senior Project Manager, Katy has run impactful campaigns within the industry, previously campaigning for more inclusive Personal Protective Equipment which resulted in the new British Standard BS 30417: Guidance for the Provision of Inclusive PPE. Earlier this year, Katy launched the Release the Bogs campaign, aiming to address the issues with the provision and quality of site toilets in the construction industry, with an aim to champion change to regulations and guidance associated with site welfare. In addition, Katy runs a social media account called What Katy Built, @ whatkatyybuilt on Instagram and TikTok to encourage more people to join the construction industry, and campaign for change in order to plug the issue of retention.
