Kay rejoined HLM in November 2025 to relaunch and lead the Plymouth studio, bringing over 20 years of experience across the built environment sector. She oversees project delivery, business growth and creative leadership in the region across a diverse portfolio, while fostering collaboration within the South West design community.
A former lecturer at the University of Plymouth and Arts University Plymouth, and South West Women in Construction committee member, Kay is committed to supporting women in the built environment, championing diversity, and inspiring the next generation of industry leaders. She believes design can be a powerful catalyst for positive social and community change.
