Ken Bullock joined BAFE two years ago as our Technical Schemes and Assurance Manager, where he leads the development and continual improvement of BAFE schemes. His current focus includes reviewing several schemes to align with the latest British Standards and UKAS requirements.

With over 40 years of experience in the fire safety industry, Ken is a highly respected figure known for driving innovation and raising standards. His career began with pioneering work in wireless fire detection and alarm technology, and he has since played a key role in shaping product and operational standards through his involvement with the FIA and BSI. Notably, Ken served as the UK principal expert on the CEN wireless working group.

Today, Ken works closely with industry stakeholders across all nine BAFE Schemes, helping fire safety organisations demonstrate their competency and commitment to excellence.
