Kiru is a Principal Sustainability Consultant and the Materials Lead for Whole-Life Carbon and Circular Economy at Max Fordham. She has led the development and delivery of sustainability strategies across a broad portfolio of projects, including new build and retrofit schemes in domestic, commercial, and heritage contexts.

Kiru specialises in whole-life carbon assessment, circular design methodologies, and material specification, with a strong focus on integrating environmental performance targets into practical design outcomes. She has contributed to the LETI Circular Economy Working Group, providing technical case studies and input into the development of industry design guidance.

She is currently a member of the Camden and Redbridge Design Review Panels, where she supports the evaluation of projects with respect to environmental performance, material efficiency, and circularity.
