Kizzy is a Health, Safety, Fire & Environmental Partner and Solicitor Advocate at Russell Cooke Solicitors who regularly represents clients at court, Enforcement Notice appeals and Coroners’ inquests. She provides strategic advice to a number of high-profile corporate and commercial clients – both contentious advice in response to an actual incident, and preventative consultancy advice in relation to corporate policies and procedures to ensure compliance with key fire and health & safety legislation, as well as other associated regulations.

She has significant experience in defending companies, senior directors and employees in corporate manslaughter and serious fire / health and safety prosecutions. Kizzy has a particular interest in managing reputational risk for businesses and providing training on the law relating to health and safety issues within the construction, care homes, environmental, manufacturing, fire, rail and retail industries.

Kizzy joined Russell-Cooke as a partner in 2018 having previously worked at an international law firm leading their health and safety team in London for almost 10 years. Prior to this, she was the sole criminal regulatory and prosecutions lawyer at a local authority, responsible for prosecuting companies and individuals in breach of Health and Safety and other associated legislation and providing advice to the Executive in respect of prosecutions against the Local Authority.
