Krystin is an Architect and Associate Director at Buckley Gray Yeoman and has nearly 20 years of practice experience in a wide variety of industry sectors that include: Hospitality, Workplace, Residential, Student Accommodation, Retail and Mixed-Use Masterplanning, from the sensitive re-working, de-carbonising and value-add of distressed assets to the new build re-imagining of new city quarters, with projects in London and across the UK.

She is currently leading the team for the Shepherd Hotel in London’s Mayfair, the extension and retrofit of the existing block that includes a Grade II listed Georgian terrace to deliver a new 85-key boutique hotel and several private residential apartments. She has also overseen other large retrofit PBSA developments, including 65 Fleet Street in the City of London – the total remodelling of an inner-city block with completely new facades to deliver 850 units of purpose-built student accommodation. Her current focus is on A PBSA scheme on Camperdown Street in Aldgate achieving 400 student units.

With experience leading large mixed-use schemes, Krystin is and has been responsible for a range of significant projects in London’s Hackney Wick in and around the Fish Island Creative Arts Quarter, Vittoria Wharf and Dace Road, totalling over 400 Build To Rent and affordable residential units plus another 350,000sqft of affordable commercial workspace in carefully curated clusters.   

Krystin also supported Devonshire Gardens in Cambridge, a significant mixed use development for the practice with commercial & retail spaces, build to rent residential units and community uses – all enveloping a generous central garden. 
She also led the residential buildings at the Edward Street Quarter at the early stages, a significant £70m 160,000sqft mixed-use scheme in Brighton comprising residential units, workplace, retail and a series of large open spaces.

Alongside the residential work, Krystin oversees several commercial retrofits in the studio. Whilst the Vine Hill project completed recently, further projects in Mayfair, on Carnaby Street and on Dean Street, are still ongoing.

Krystin joined the practice in 2018. She previously worked for 10 years at at Eric Parry Architects, on award winning commercial projects such as 50 New Bond Street, 1 Eagle Place and Fen Court, as well as large scale and premium residential buildings, such as the Athlete’s Village Stratford, the Bryanston Street apartments and prime residential units on Albemarle Street. She trained at Wright & Wright Architects, where she worked on the Library for Corpus Christi College in Cambridge. She is a graduate of the Mackintosh School of Architecture at the Glasgow School of Art, the Bauhaus University Weimar, Germany and the ETH Zurich/ Switzerland.
