Lane Line
Lane has over four years’ experience at Laing O’Rourke, where she began as a Procurement Manager in the Fire Procurement Team and now operates within the Central Fire Team. She is the Fire Curtain SME and Fire Technical Lead at Hinkley Point C.
Previously, Lane worked for a passive fire protection subcontractor as a Sales Executive and Estimator. In her current role, she leads firestopping design strategy to support delivery of a compliant building, applying her procurement and estimating expertise to drive robust MEP modelling, cost certainty, and reduced rework.
As part of the Central Fire Team, Lane has adapted to evolving industry requirements following the Building Safety Act 2022 and advocates for continuous improvement, updated design standards, and strong collaboration to deliver safer, more resilient buildings.
