Lauren O'Neill
Corporate Partnerships Coordinator,
St Mungo's
Working in the charity sector for over a decade, I've worked with some amazing causes to help deliver social change and support people to live the lives they want to live. I am now working at St Mungo's, a homelessness organisation, where we support people off the streets to rebuild their lives. I work with construction firms to help us deliver that goal, through fundraising and employment support.
Statement:
"As a woman working in charity in the UK today, I think pushing for equality is important because it means that everyone, no matter their gender, gets a fair chance at achieving their potential. Companies should thrive on having diverse workplaces, where different talents and viewpoints are celebrated and embraced."
