Mandy was awarded an honorary doctorate in technology at the end of 2022. She was cyber woman of the year in 2021 at the cyber security awards. Mandy and her team are consultants to national policing in delivering the first network of policing Cyber Resilience Centres supporting small business needs across England and Wales.
Mandy is Chair of Business Resilience International (BRIM) and also Vice Chair of the National Cyber Resilience Centre’s Steering Group, which comprises national and international industry leaders, focussing on future proofing business from cyber risk and also looking at implementing innovative ways to increase cyber resilience across the wider business supply chain. As part of this model, vocational cyber students from across England and Wales are being supported on an innovative cyber programme called Cyber Path.
Mandy is also the founder and presenter of Cyberversed, a monthly podcast focussing on leaders within the cyber industry.
Outside of work, Mandy is an exhibited artist who has just completed her third Open Studios event.
