I am an experienced Senior Bid professional, proficient in all aspects of tendering from client liaison, market strategy, through to PQQ/Tender/PTI submittal. I have successfully tendered large-scale multi complex submissions ranging from £500,000 - £700m in the Public and Private sectors including educational establishments. I am skilled in leading, guiding and mentoring teams to a high performing function. I have over 12 years’ experience working in Bidding, enabling knowledge and the implementation of best practice across roles, including Bid management, Bid writing and Proposal design. I enjoy collaborating with senior stakeholders and I am strategic by nature identifying and implementing process improvements to ensure succesful bidding results. I am qualified to APMP Practitioner, currently taking APMP Professional.

Statement:

I am an advocate for women in construction, supporting an industry that I love working in, promoting inclusivity, regardless of gender. Diversity, equality and inclusion, when delivered correctly, promotes a variety of skill sets, nurturing all types of personalities and skill sets to provide well rounded and valuable input into an industry, that has been viewed as male dominated in the past. Everyone has the right to work and feel valued promoting best practice and a content workforce, that drives high results. The Office for National Statistics (ONS) confirms that as of February 2023, only 15% of the construction workforce are female. This can be vastly improved through appropriate support and nurturing, with companies urged to support women in construction through networks, collaboration and communication.
