Michael Pecirno
Michael Pecirno is Sustainable Futures Lead at Hassell, a global architecture and design practice, where he works on shifting the built environment towards circular and regenerative outcomes. His projects range from interior fit-outs and refurbishments to masterplans and frameworks for cities.
Trained as an architect, he pairs long-range foresight with a designer's instinct for making abstract problems tangible, turning challenges like climate risk and material circularity into strategies and tools that change how we design and build. Before Hassell, he spent a decade in architecture, research and design at Foster + Partners, Fjord and Takram. His work has been featured in Wired, Gizmodo and The Washington Post, and exhibited internationally.
