Michael Sørensen
Michael Sørensen is the Global Market & Design Director at Henning Larsen. Based at the international design studio's headquarters in Copenhagen, Denmark, he leads strategic market development, client engagement, and the delivery of complex design projects across international markets. Previously, Michael led Henning Larsen's New York studio for five years, overseeing projects throughout North America.
As Global Market & Design Director, Michael works closely with multidisciplinary teams to guide large-scale projects from concept through completion, ensuring a clear and consistent design vision throughout every stage. His leadership is driven by the belief that architecture should foster meaningful human connections and create lasting value for communities.
Known for its holistic approach to architecture, landscape, and urban design, Henning Larsen creates environments where transformative ideas flourish. The studio has received numerous international accolades, including the International Architecture Award, the Architizer A+ Awards, Fast Company's World Changing Ideas Award, and the Mies van der Rohe European Union Prize for Contemporary Architecture.
