Michele is technical director within the façade engineering team at WSP UK. He is an architect and engineer with more than 14 years of experience in the industry and is specialised in designing, managing, and delivering complex facade projects.
He has worked in Italy, Australia and the UK in engineering and architectural consultancy firms as well as general contractors, where he was responsible to design facade solutions for small high-end buildings to large multi-millions infrastructure developments. He also contributed to the development of new business strategies in the area of contractor early engagement and off-site construction (DfMA) leading the innovation agenda.
Michele holds a PhD in adaptive facades, he has been lecturing in the topics of facade engineering and sustainable building design and has authored several articles.
