Having worked in the construction industry for 30 years I have seen and witnessed how the industries attitude towards both women and mental health have changed dramatically. More so in the last few years than ever before. As a project manager and quantity surveyor I have direct dealings with all parties and personnel involved in the delivery of a project t and can see first hand the devastating impact stress, anxiety and mental health issues has on firstly a project, but then directly on a persons reputation. The cost is immense. Especially if it costs life’s.
