I have worked for Autodesk within the construction solutions for 4 years. I have faced many challenges in this time. Some of these challenges have not been gender related at all. However some have. I had to cover Middle East, and has instances were I was spat at, ignored, ridiculed and refused to shake hands. On these occasions it was because I was a female. It made me stand my ground even more and prove a point as why I was there, regardless of my gender.. Similar to attending sites in the UK, never that extreme though and it is improving. I want young girls to have inspiring people in the industry. Not some influencer selling them things on instagram. But someone who can show them they are more than capable as an individual,.
