Milena plays a key role in shaping the future of VINCI Building’s talent pipeline, which currently supports 14% of its workforce through apprenticeship programmes. With a strong foundation in learning and development, she has led a range of impactful initiatives that support apprentices, placement students, and graduates. Her approach fosters a culture of inclusion, empowerment, and continuous learning—ensuring every individual feels supported and valued from day one. She works in close partnership with colleges, universities, and training providers to ensure high-quality programme delivery and to help apprentices thrive, progressing confidently in their career journeys at VINCI Building.
Working closely with the social value team, VINCI Building offers alternative pathways into the construction industry with a commitment of the Community Skills Centres - established on live work sites offering a unique, hands-on training environment that sets them apart from mainstream education providers. These centres provide practical, real-world training in various construction trades, enabling participants to earn a Level 1 Award in areas such as digital skills, employment and personal development, and gain their CSCS card, building confidence, capability, and career prospects.
