Natalia leads on projects across different sectors, including universities, science, student living and mixed-use regeneration. She also sits on the practice’s design board and is an active member of our sustainability team.

She is passionate about design quality, and the development of a concept from inception to completion. The RIBA award-winning Faculty of Health, Education and Life Sciences for Birmingham City University blends seamlessly with an existing structure and creates a shared single space to encourage collaboration within the different disciplines housed within.

Her keen interest in sustainability and creative re-use is applied at the University of Liverpool’s School of Environmental Sciences, retrofitting and extending a pair of 1900s buildings to create cutting edge research and teaching facilities while significantly reducing embodied and operational carbon.

Natalia’s understanding of MMC allowed her to create precast facades with unique patterns in recently completed student residencies at the University of York. The scheme explores the materiality of the concrete whilst referencing built heritage and designing a strong sense of place, recognised by Manchester Society of Architects Award.

Natalia is actively engaged with the RIBA and academia. She is a member of the RIBA Journal’s editorial panel and is a visiting tutor at the Manchester School of Art and Nottingham Trent University, in addition to being a Part III examiner at the Birmingham School of Architecture.

She is also a talented artist; her architectural illustration work has been exhibited at the Royal Academy of Art and shortlisted for the RIBA’s Eye Line competition.
