Peter is a Director in Buro Happold’s UK Façade Engineering Team where he leads technical activities and is a project director on a range of projects where the facade poses complex technical, performance, material and buildability challenges. These have included residential developments, bespoke cultural venues and the restoration and refurbishment of listed landmarks. Peter has a focus on the fields of the fire performance of façade systems, the impact of the Building Safety Act and sustainability and low carbon design, upon which Peter has also presented to international conferences and guest lectured at Universities in the UK and Europe. Peter sits on the board of the CIBSE Society of Facade Engineers, and is also a chartered member of the Institution of Civil Engineers.
