Priya is a qualified architect (ARB/RIBA) and has over 4 years of professional experience to date. She currently works for Mace's multi-disciplinary design team on mainly highly sensitive public estates and government projects. While at Mace, Priya also completed the company's acclaimed two-year Graduate Development Programme to get a wide range of knowledge on the construction life cycle, and won one of the Graduate Achievement Awards for her overall contribution to the business. Previous experience includes working on residential, commercial and mixed-use schemes across the United Kingdom. Outside of work, Priya is an active campaigner for racial equality, diversity and inclusivity, and mental wellbeing, through being a member of the RIBA's Diversity Board 'Architects for Change', setting up Mace’s Ethnic Diversity Inclusion Network (EDIN), and being an ambassador for the Architects Benevolent Society. She has participated in several public speaking events spanning over ten years, including at the RIBA Headquarters, universities across England, and at the House of Lords.
