Rachel has a passion for school design, and a firm belief that a learning environment has a direct impact on the performance of both pupils and staff. Throughout her career, Rachel has worked with numerous schools, trusts and councils to help create new buildings, improve existing estate and develop new school campuses. Her experience over the past 10+ years encompasses primary schools through to FE specialist colleges, with a wealth of experience in SEND and Alternate Provision schools of varying needs, all providing learning environments unique to the user’s own needs. Rachel’s experience includes working with tight programmes, conservation areas, listed buildings, projects adjacent to world heritage sites and obtaining BREEAM very good on schools within a tight budget. Rachel is experienced at leading stakeholder engagement. She also has experience with modern methods of construction such as Cross Laminated Timber and Precast Concrete Structures. Rachel is also knowledgeable in other sectors including residential and workplace.
