Dr Reuben Ayeni
Dr Reuben Ayeni is a construction planning, project controls and digital construction specialist with extensive experience supporting the planning and delivery of complex housing, regeneration, education and mixed-use developments across the UK.
His career has included senior planning and leadership roles, where he has worked closely with project, design, commercial, procurement and construction teams to improve programme certainty, coordinate delivery strategies and strengthen project controls.
Reuben holds a PhD in Digital Construction Management and Economics from London South Bank University, with research focused on the application of artificial intelligence, predictive modelling and explainable AI to construction project performance. His work brings together practical construction planning experience with emerging digital technologies, exploring how better-connected project information can support earlier decision-making and more predictable outcomes.
Through Rems Bower Consulting Ltd, he provides construction planning and integrated project control support, with particular emphasis on programme assurance, design and procurement integration, critical-path management and the use of project data to improve delivery confidence.
He is particularly interested in how digital collaboration can move beyond individual software platforms to create a more connected relationship between clients, designers, contractors, supply chains and project controls teams.
