Richard is an Associate at Bell Phillips Architects and has worked on a wide variety of award-winning projects at differing scales, from Council led infill schemes to large scale mixed use regeneration projects. He has over 15 years in practice and is passionate about the delivery of high-quality homes across all tenures.

He has worked extensively with local authorities and has delivered a number of housing led regeneration schemes for Sutton, Southwark and Waltham Forest Councils. This includes a pair of mixed-use residential schemes in Rotherhithe that will deliver 76 new homes and a suite of 6 Passivhaus schemes that will see the delivery of 136 new homes on complex urban and council infill sites in Ealing. His is currently leading on a 400 unit mixed-use build to rent scheme as a part of the Birmingham Smithfield development and a large scale retrofit and new build student residential scheme in Manchester that will see the realization of over 850 student rooms.

Richard is a core member of Bell Phillips’ Policy Group and is a member of the Lewisham Design Review Panel.
