Rimmy Vij is the Director and Head of Facade Engineering at WSP UK Ltd., with over 17 years of experience at the intersection of Architecture and Facade Engineering. A Chartered Engineer, Chartered Project Professional (MAPM), and Fellow of the Society of Facade Engineering, she exemplifies technical excellence and industry leadership. In her role, Rimmy leads the delivery of Facade Engineering services on major, high-profile projects—from concept through to completion—ensuring quality, innovation, and client satisfaction. She collaborates closely with multidisciplinary engineering teams, offering strategic technical guidance and helping shape the future of facade design.

As Vice Chair of the Society of Facade Engineering, Rimmy is a key advocate for the profession, promoting its advancement across the built environment sector. Known for her strong leadership and management capabilities, she oversees a large team and acts as the principal liaison for clients on all facade-related matters.

Driven by a passion for architecture, innovation, and continuous learning, Rimmy also prioritizes mental well-being in the workplace. She is a qualified mental health first aider, committed to supporting the growth, resilience, and development of both her team and herself.
