Shama Tatler is a councillor in the London Borough of Brent. She serves as Cabinet Member for Regeneration, Property and Planning. As part of her role she oversees some of the largest regeneration projects in London, including the Wembley Park area and also leads on the multi-award winning estate regeneration scheme in South Kilburn, two GLA housing zones and One Public Estate Scheme in Northwick Park. Shama works with housing colleagues to deliver over 1000 council homes and the councils property. As part of her lead member role she also oversees the development of planning policy, the councils CIL and S106 programme, leading on innovative strategies on inclusive growth and affordable workspace. Currently Shama is working on initiatives to support economic recovery in Brent. Shama is a LGA Peer and sits on the West London Economic Prosperity Board.
