Steven specialises in leading multi-disciplinary planning and development teams on major housing and mixed-use projects.  He leads one of Lichfields’ London office teams specialising in housing-led schemes on both brownfield and greenfield sites in London and the South East, including those within the Green Belt or on Metropolitan Open Land, and now grey belt sites. His expertise includes strategic advice and project feasibility, adding value to design development, promoting and negotiating complex projects through plan promotion, pre-application engagement and planning application stages, acting as expert witness at appeal hearings and public inquiries, and securing and implementing planning permissions.
