Tolu Fatogbe

Tolu currently works as Head of Technical Services & Projects for a London Local Authority where for the past 5-years he has delivered in-house training and H&S expert advice to Head Teachers, School Business Managers, Premises Managers & Premises Officers. Tolu also provides strategic professional and technical advice at the highest level, on all property service matters (including those delivered by the council for partner organisations) within and outside the authority. In his current role Tolu acts as the strategic lead on building surveying and engineering related services and is responsible for delivering the building repairs and maintenance that ensures the Authority is protected and meets its’ legal requirements. Tolu acts as the building safety duty holder for the operational buildings and sites within his remit. Additionally, over a period of 9-years Tolu has been a visiting lecturer at two universities, one based in London and the other in Berkshire. Modules/Courses delivered include Building Engineering, Sustainable Construction and Quantity Surveying. Tolu is a dually qualified Chartered Building Services Engineer registered with the UK Engineering Council & Chartered Surveyor and is a firm advocate of lifelong learning.
