Tom Teatum is an architect, teacher and developer.
In 2016, Tom was appointed as a director of Noiascape – a space curation practice that is developing a modern infrastructure of buildings for rent. Projects in development range from high street spaces combining residential, work and retail space, to high density mixed-use buildings providing 100+ residential studios with employment and community space. Projects provide a range of shared spaces that form a network across London that are accessible to all tenants. Noiascape projects focus on choreographing spatial interaction and creating shared social experience.
Tom is also a founding director of Teatum and Teatum Architects. The practice combines architecture, development and urbanism. Tom is responsible for housing and workplace sectors; recent projects include Garden House, High Street, Cluster Village, City in a Building and Testone Studio. The practice’s central interest is the organisation of spatial structures to create interaction between user, building and city.
Tom regularly contributes to teaching; he is a former unit tutor at the Royal College of Art and has taught at the Architectural Association, Greenwich University and Southbank University.
