Valeria is a Carbon Assessor at BAM Design, specialising in Whole Life Carbon Assessment (WLCA) across a wide range of building projects. With an MSc in Carbon Management and four years of hands-on experience, she has delivered WLCA across all RIBA stages—from early concept design to post-construction evaluation.

She was part of the UK Green Building Council (UKGBC) Task Group that developed the Embodied Carbon: Scope 3 Measurement and Reporting guidance. Valeria also served on the WLCA Market Steering Group, helping to review and shape the WLCA Practitioner Training developed by CIBSE. In addition, she volunteers with SheCanEngineer, supporting initiatives to promote diversity and inclusion in engineering.
