Vanessa Quansah
Head of Civil and Structural Engineering,

Vanessa Quansah is Head of Civil & Structural Engineering at Bovis, specialising in temporary works, construction methodology and optimising permanent works for buildability. A Chartered Civil Engineer with over 13 years’ experience, she began her career at Swanton Consulting, progressing rapidly to Senior Engineer while delivering projects including Tate Modern and Imperial War Museum. Since joining Bovis in 2016, she has led temporary works on major schemes such as Google KGX1, and worked as Project Manager on 8 Bishopsgate, delivering a major concrete package. Vanessa now leads a specialist team, driving technical excellence, innovation and low-carbon solutions, and has been named among the WES Top 50 Women in Engineering 2025.
